Ann Schober has been a mental health social worker for the past 23 years and specializes in Depression, Anxiety and Trauma. Ann has studied in Hawaii on how to heal physical illness by understanding emotions and is also qualified in Kinesiology. The topic for the day is…… Understanding the stress response and how it works in your Brain.  How to turn off stress responses to promote better health. During the talk Ann will be discuss the brain and what it does when a person is under stress. Once we understand this we are better able to take steps to reduce stress and anxiety.  This will be an extremely interesting and valuable talk and well worth the effort of attending to be held at Gympie Centreplace from 10-12. Wednesday 12^th November…. This meeting is a special meeting for those people who attended the “Our Emotional Journey Workshops “and will not be held at Centerplace. There will be no usual meeting on this day. Wednesday 26^th November….This will be the last meeting for the year and will be our Christmas Party and as this will be held at a special venue bookings will be essential!
